We continue to maintain this site for the foreseeable future. We are working on re-enabling login access for people who wish to create accounts and contribute Cacti Templates and Plugin links. Give us a little time. Welcome to Cacti 1.x DocuWiki The Cacti Group are on a tear! In 2017, we released almost 40 releases of Cacti 1.x. It's been a rapid pace, but we now have several contributors helping us not only perfect the user interface, but enhance it to be what it has been touted to be from the beginning 'the complete RRDtool graphing solution'. Cacti 1.x has changed drastically from earlier versions. We have incorporated 20 Cacti Group plugins into the Core of Cacti to make it easier for you to get started using it. When those plugins were merged, careful thought was givin to compatibility and design. They should all behave as a unified tool today. With that said, we have another 19 or so plugins available on GitHub. So, though we have merged a number of them into the core of Cacti, there are several additional plugins that may be required depending on your use case. Additionally, we have implemented internationalization. What this means is that if your preferred language is not English, you may have an option. Translations are available today in Spanish, Dutch, and German. There are several partially complete translations. If you are not a developer, and interested in giving back to the Cacti community, consider contributing to a Cacti Translation. You just have to follow our translation instructions on GitHub. We could also use some help in Translating our 19 or so plugins. Lastly, Cacti 1.x has theme support. So, if you need Cacti to look like your Corporate standard, hack away, or better yet, find a web developer. The Cacti Group IMPORTANT NOTE: This Documentation site includes links to many Plugins. For plugins listed with a status of core , it means that they are already included in Cacti 1.x maintained on GitHub, and do not need to be installed. For users using older versions of Cacti, these plugin entries are maintained so that if you are required to use an older version of Cacti, you can still gain access to those plugins. IMPORTANT NOTE: This Documentation site includes links to many Templates. For the Official Templates, you should only install those Templates applicable to your Cacti version. For Cacti 1.x, we are rolling out the release of Packages. Packages can currently be installed from the CLI using the import_package.php script. You should use that whenever possible as it installs the dependent XML files and scripts for you automatically. For users using older versions of Cacti, the import route and manually copying files is the only way to go. IMPORTANT NOTE: This Documentation site includes links to many Community Templates. These older Cacti 0.8.x Templates can be imported into Cacti 1.x. As always, you should preview them on a test or development system before you import them on your production server just to make sure they do not break newer Templates. Current Cacti 1.x Releases Cacti release 1.1.36 is our 44th release of the Cacti 1.x branch, and it's only been a year and change from the first release of 1.0.0. 2018 is looking promising as well. We have a lot of plans for this year. With more active developers and community supporters, we should be able to clear a number of feature requests from our GitHub issue tracker. We believe that release is stable, though you should make plans to upgrade your environment to Cacti 1.x. In the mean time, if for some reason you can not use Cacti 1.x, this version is preserved here for your reference. Cacti 0.8.8h Spine 0.8.8h Announcements Release of Cacti 1.1.36 We hope this release will be the last one before the release of 1.2. However, if we find bugs, you will find fixes in the develop branch. All 1.2 specific activity will be in the feature 1.2 branch. So, the develop branch should be considered safe to patch from.
